Boudhanath Buddhist Stupa Watercolour Painting

I had an amazing experience trekking and painting in the Annapurna Mountains in Nepal. The breathtaking scenery inspired me to create many watercolour paintings of the landscapes, the people and the culture. I brought with me my art equipment, materials and gear, which were essential for capturing the beauty of nature on canvas. When I returned to Kathmandu, I visited the majestic Boudhanath Buddhist Stupa, one of the largest and most sacred monuments in Nepal. I was fascinated by its architecture, symbolism and history. I made some sketches of the stupa and its surroundings, and later turned them into a watercolour painting that I was very proud of. To my delight, this painting was accepted for a prestigious international painting exhibition in Kathmandu, where I had the opportunity to showcase my work and along with other international artists from around the world. It was a dream come true for me, and I am so grateful for this unforgettable adventure.

This was not the first time that I selected in an international exhibition. In fact, I have been painting for several decades, and I have had work selected for exhibitions in different countries, such as India, Russia, USA and Spain. I love to travel and explore new places, and I always bring my art supplies along with me. Since childhood painting is my passion and my way of expressing myself. I enjoy sharing my paintings with others, and I also learn a lot from seeing other artists’ work. Painting has enriched my life in so many ways, and I hope to continue this journey well into the future.

You never know I may return to trek and painting in Nepal!!
